not really, the qwerty is still within perfect reach of my arm.
hopefully when i get used to the novation sl49 and set it up to my liking, i won't really have to use the qwerty anymore

Dare to dream. Yif, I know you just splashed on that novation, but let me plant the seed: Maschine. I've been following your music for a while, and just paying a little attention to you here, I really think you'd love maschine. Would suit your style and is truly a mouseless, keyboardless tool (unless you want it, then it is there if you need it).mistayif wrote:hopefully when i get used to the novation sl49 and set it up to my liking, i won't really have to use the qwerty anymore

Thats not a commercial studio, I never said that. Just a space that has half decent equipment at cheap prices.

Lol wonder what I could get renting out my space loool.
Re: the classic "take a photo of your setup" thread
That artwork is sick but id expect them to offer something beyond my reach for that price. Maybe some nice outboard units, a nice hardware synth or maybe a really nice monitoring setup. Nothing there would look out of place in any bedroom studio I reckon. Saying that I dont DJ so im looking at it from a production angle.

Well the guy (dj and producer from liverpool) said that its his personal studio space and he couldn't find any other studios that offered that kind of thing, geared toward dance music, for a cheap price. Its literally just started up so more things are going to be added eventually.benjaminC wrote:That artwork is sick but id expect them to offer something beyond my reach for that price. I think in a commercial studio you'd get an engineer and producer and what not, but in this one (non commercial) you'd just be on your own and stuff.AnomiK wrote:how does a commercial studio work?
