Gorgon Sound - Righteous Dub ft. Guy Calhoun, some kind of remix or vocal mix. The version I have doesn't have the vocals.

Should have been Vivek then Kahn as vivek plays a good set but stays more in the medi side of things with the odd poison dart thrown in, where as kahns is bangers and grime vips all over the shop.

nah that was some crazy megamix/medley dubplate that VIVEK made, "Sirens into Big Bang into a clip of Worries In The Dance into Out Of Reach into Pulse into Feel It" or some madness, I lost my shit!the_disconekt wrote:listening back to the clash again… VIVEK - Big Bang (version?!?)

) It was serious. When I went to Subdub at cable I thought Iration's sound was a bit tinny as well. Gutted I missed this night, hopefully they do some more clashes in the future though.particle-jim wrote:Kahn played a really good set but Iration's rig sounded terrible from where I was standing, all I could hear was bass and really tinny treble, Mungos sounded lovely though and as a result I enjoyed VIVEK's set more on the night, had they both been playing on Mungos it would have been much more closely contested IMO
Odd, i thought iration sounded better although only slightly.particle-jim wrote:Kahn played a really good set but Iration's rig sounded terrible from where I was standing, all I could hear was bass and really tinny treble, Mungos sounded lovely though and as a result I enjoyed VIVEK's set more on the night, had they both been playing on Mungos it would have been much more closely contested IMO
Generally I thought the same too until Flowdan got on the mic but I did have earplugs so can't exactly judge completely. They certainly exceeded the pain threshold.Dub_freak wrote:Odd, i thought iration sounded better although only slightly.particle-jim wrote:Kahn played a really good set but Iration's rig sounded terrible from where I was standing, all I could hear was bass and really tinny treble, Mungos sounded lovely though and as a result I enjoyed VIVEK's set more on the night, had they both been playing on Mungos it would have been much more closely contested IMO
I assumed kahn lowered the mids/highs when flowdan got on the mic, all i could hear was bass and flowdan's voice.Marcus wrote:Generally I thought the same too until Flowdan got on the mic but I did have earplugs so can't exactly judge completely. Pretty much this for me as well - I was stood at the right Iration stack as well. Hearing VIVEK's subs on Mungo's System really was happening for me, something about them is super deep but super clean.Johnlenham wrote:particle-jim wrote:Kahn played a really good set but Iration's rig sounded terrible from where I was standing, all I could hear was bass and really tinny treble, Mungos sounded lovely though and as a result I enjoyed VIVEK's set more on the night, had they both been playing on Mungos it would have been much more closely contested IMO
Should have joined the right stack crew (me,ch3 and welton) It was serious.

I would like to know more about this also, was very fucked at this System so I didn't even realise, but I do remember the bassweight being extra pressure that System.Johoosh wrote: On this topic wtf was that mystery 3rd stack all about at the System with Chef? Was BEEEFY then it dissappeared.
