most degrees here are under 30k for the entire time of study.

how are people supposed to be able to afford that shit at a yearly rate.... insane.

Yeah for me it's gonna be roughly 30k a year once i transfer. Fucking absurd. Especially when I can go home to Austria and do it for free (although not at a top uni like UCLA or UC Berkeley)

I should just go to an in state public university and get all my tuition paid for, but idk, I just feel like I should be trying for something a bit more prestigious. Maybe I'm wrong and I'm just being a prideful tnuc here, idk.

They are allowed to charge anything up to £9000 a year, which all the decent ones do.
How much state support you get for it varies depending on how much your parents earn
