andsame happened to him before... wanted to join me for a dmz - booked flight and all but they denied a visa.

Why do you need a visa to come here? Is it just because you're not in the EU?

Does he have a criminal record or something? This country isnt exactly strict on holiday visas

yeah my new housemate is from america and he can live here for 6 months without a visa
or maybe its a holiday visa or something, but still he had no trouble getting in

it's because he's ecuadorian and has just an immigrant status in switzerland. that's all.
