too much generalizing 2 begin with. what part of "cali" did you visit? hollywood is very different than say somewhere like fresno, bakersfield, and up north around eureka , humboldt, redding etc. a blank stare? maybe when you were talking to people, they actually did get it but moreso took it as a slight insult like "who's this fuckwit that i've never met in my life before comin up to me trying to be sarcastic". sarcasm in it's blatant form is very obvious to detect in person.Mason wrote:yeah american humour seems very different to u.k humour, when i was in cali i went to some comedy night and the comedian was telling such straight forward boring jokes, obviously could of been the comedian being shit but everyone else in the crowd was loving it.
