@darkdubz - speyside What can I say, nice work. Your tunes moody dark and the production is really clean. Sounds more finishd than a WIP imo
@oprs- master this tune is just awesome.. Its fresh and just plain badass. Only complaint is around 1:20 when that new synth comes on.. IMHO it doesn't fit whatsoever with the tune and made me stop what I was doing
@weedcali - 7-13 dubstep wip this type of tune seems like your going for a chill ambient/slow progressing track. Its nice but it needs more drums, maybe some chord changes? and some type of development... As of right now it just seems a little repetitive.
@darkdubz -silent kill another tight track. honestly I think you can get these quality tracks signed. Super clean and well produced. Flows nice... start submitting man
Heres a track of mine that has awhile to go. Wanted to see what you guys think of it so far. I plan on adding more "progressive" samples like at the buildups and the break. This is kind of like the bare bones of the track... Please let me know what you think:

@therebel730 - It sounds sick already, but I think if it had some hats in it, it'd be even sicker. It'd make it hit harder, yaknow..?
@sonic arts - loving the tune, but i can't really hear the bass drum.
@jrisreal - intro synth scales are so sickk. good drop too.
@darkdubz - silent kill is dirty as fuck!
Sorry, my previous post, the track got deleted so I'll just post it in this one. The song is basically done, just need to do some EQing.

Bassdnb, Deffo got my head noddin'! I like the drums and arps together. I like the flow and layout but I cant help but want to hear a fat, low sub wobble like old school dubstep. I say try putting one in and see how it sounds
Thrilla, It definitely sounds well-mixed. Not really my cup-o-tea style-wise. Good production though
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks for the Input guys. I know its a bit repetative, Ive been focusing on track layout and synth patches mostly. work on some background stuff for the drums and whatnot in this update.

@weedcali love that clap and kick, they flow so well, i would say just try to work on the subm eys it should be loud, but its kind of muddying up the mix, at least thats what im getting on my headphones, those pad things in the back are excellent! great vibe to this track!
@darkdubs good shit! nice sounds design! i love those big swooshy kind of wobbles, Only thing i would say is try to work out the mixdown a bit, it sounds good but it good always be better, only thing i notcied was the snare was sometimes getting lost behind the big wobbles. I gotta ask, what vst's/synths you using for those wobbles?
@tehhef9drm the mixdown is pretty bad :/ i like your sound design but the horrible mix is ruining everything. bring down everything, all your faders, and slowly bring up the drums, have all the drums playing peaking around -8 - -10 db so you have alot of headroom for your midranges, then bring those up till they sound nice with the drums.
@oprs i have that same binaural household pack, sounds like some straight film music! ha, no criticism from me sounds good man
@ben jones i like the wobble you got goin on, nice and gritty shit. But yes you are correct the mix is horrible lol. like i said up there ^^ do that same thing so your track can breathe, everything is fighting for room, nice drums and everything though, all the different sounds and melodies kept me interested
Here something new im trying, im getting sick of dubstep at 140, but i will never get sick of cool wobble sounds, so im trying some new types of metal-ish drums with cool noises. I dont really care if it isnt danceable

Here is my WIP (short clip of) - There is more of an intro and there will be an interesting riser
Soundcloud
Sonic Arts - I really like this; really chilled, great vibes. Just begging for a vocalist! My only criticism would be that it maybe jerks/is a little too cut up in the intro - May be a BPM issue?
DarkDubz - Good ambience in the intro so far.. Like the siren! Few little ambient noises creeping in.. Bass drop.. All very nice and moody! Delayed metal impacts and scraping sound nice... Ooh! Love the drop.. Bass sounds are very nice and original.. Whip whip whip whuup, love it. My only idea is that if it dropped in at 51 seconds just after the pitch down, that'd be sick..
BaasDNB - Really like the tinkly intro arps and the beat fits perfectly.. That cowbell type thing keeps it interesting and rhythmical.. Very nice! I think the sub bass could be more interesting.. Definitely needs some phasing introduced I think? Oh okay, it is phasing a little now but wasn't in the intro.. I get that it gives it a sense of continuity or verse/chorus type structure but the intro sub definitely needs SOMETHING.. More harmonics? A lower pure sine layered underneath maybe.. Great job though!
Thrilla - Very amped, live sounding drums! Like it! I like the slight metally kick drum too.. The snare sounds like a clap, it's all air! Needs a more weighty snare sitting under that imo.. Drop could build up more too but I really like what is going on after the drop!
Rando! - One of my favourite producers on this forum... Tom Morello watch out on that sound then WHOA! Some sorta death metal!? Haha, this is nutty.. I'm definitely not going to buy it or probably even jump around to it in a club but for pure originality, well done bro

@darkdubs : thanx for your feedback mate, I know the drum is too quiet and the bass is maybe too heavy. I need to get those thing fixed. The track you posted sound really cool, love the intro, I think it sound robotic and I love it. The other one with the sirens, the thing I wanted to say is maybe adding some sort of atmos with the sirens would definetly make the intro more interesting, to be honest!
@BassDND : Really cool concept, not really into smooth thing but this is really a nice chillin tunes. I agree with Weedcali, you should try to put a low sub bass wobble that would remind of old dubstep and still keep the track smooth!
@RandoRando : Really need to work on the mixdown. Right now my drum is at -1db and everything else is at -11db. I'll try to bring the drum to -10db and taking the rest below that to see what it sounds after. For your track, wow man that sound brutal haha, I think its cool, Metal/dubstep I would say? Drum pattern is sick! Nothin bad to say,

@Ascian one fo your fav dsf producers? im flattered

haha thanks for the feed back man,

i like the drum pattern you got goin on in that WIP, (i love double bass kicks too haha) nice and dark guttural wobbles, Deff keep tha dark vibe goin in this track, i especially like the last 5 or 6 seconds, sounds like a big evil robot growling or something
@tehef9drm yeah man, dont turn your drums faders up cause you cant hear em,

turn ya speakers up!

yeah what you said bringing your drums down to -10 and balance everything around that, will deff make your track breath alot better, and thanks for the feedback, yeah im trying a metal/dubstep wobbles type of thing haha, really rough right now but im gonna try to finish it

Feedback puh-lease!
I especially need some advice for the wobble.
Soundcloud
BaasDNB: I really like the melody and the sub bass layer you have, along with the cowbell. My favorite part is the rolling piano you have. Maybe experiment with adding a more intense drumbeat and a sidechained electro-bass line to give it a more punchy feel.
Thrilla: Creepy. Like a dustup horror show… I really like it. Like you said, sounds done except for some intedifying of the lows and giving the highs some more punch.
Weedcali: Really nice melody, all it really needs is something to fill the background. Some really fat Nero/Borgore hybrid-ish baselines would sound really good, something with a very fat low end but a plateau on the high end to level it out and give it some high end feedback/maybe a little white noise to compliment the fuzz underneath.

@ therebel730 - Good track i like the variations with the wobble. Only thing i would say is to layer up your snare, get it hitting harder to make the track roll better. Also, there could be more of a low end. A good tip is to duplicate it and on the second one just literally take out all the highs and boost the lows, get them playing together it will sound huuuge!
@ weedcali - The atmosphere and claps in this track are amazing, great tune! I would agree with Rando though just by saying to tidy up the low ends a bit they do sound quite muddled when playing with together with the beat.
@ Ascian - The bass is really cool i like it! Id only say that the beat should have some more TLC, ie - bass drum and snare just eq a bit maybe layer them up to get a good punch, other than that this sounds like it will be a floor smasher!
This is my latest WIP 'Heart Burn'...check it out!

atticuh- Really not digging that bass you have there. its not in time with the rest of the track, ,mabye clean it up and add some sub?
Jl Productions- I like the dub feel you have going on, personally i like my back beat organ/piano an octave higher than what you have but that is preference. Your baseline is really interesting I think that that bell like sound that your using could mabye use some subtle eq ing to ease back on the midranges a little. anyway nice track.
Swatalla- eq that snare baby! You can barely hear it! Mabye add some parallel compression as well to beef it up.
So here is my latest, its alot more dubby then my previous offerings, its also barely been mastered, so enjoy that.
