My mate's been getting into promotion recently and has put on a few nights locally, for the next one he's book Chunky, could go either way really, it could be an absolutely wicked night but if I know Bromley it'll be dead-out because people here have shit taste and are about 2 years behind the rest of London, reckon my mate's bitten off more than he can chew tbh

haha, I remember when one of my mates booked Randomer and only about 5 people turned up even though it was happening at central London. Location is key, but unless you've promoted it properly the night could still be a disaster. Definitely promote the fuck out of it imo

What space is he trying to fill? Delanos? It could be done, but yeah, I don't fancy his chances.

If he's serious about doing nights then he has to realise you have to make losses in order to get your name out and get a well known brand. Then again, nights in Delanos doesn't seem like a serious venture.

I once went to a night in Northampton that had: Pinch, Distance, The Others, Quest & Silkie and N-Type on the line up and it was in a massive commercial nightclub in the cenre of town. There was a grand total of 13 paying customers through the door I hate to think how much money they lost on it, apparently they didn't even have a facebook event page for the event!!

Northampton is a shit night out, doesn't surprise me
