i think im understanding 130
its the unfortunate 'brand' being hoisted onto a very particular sound

in hoisting this '130' flag its gonna ruin it and in 1 year it will be dead

Okay. I think we can think about it like this:

The sound is called 130 because there is no sound within this genre, there is only feelings in the moment. 130 does not even need to be the defining rule. We can say that 130 can also be 145 on a certain day, or even 175. What makes 130 is those that choose to follow it and push it along. Of course it takes influence from everything before, but it is an evolving genre, but that's all that matters - the ability to evolve within the 130 landscape, which should have enough space to develop or not: who cares!!! But the tunes will last even if the name doesn't. Once we start using words ( which are horrible btw) things become corrupted very quickly
