Having already established themselves in the digital realm, San Francisco imprint Bassism Records finally gets physical with their 7th release. Form advocates of the view that Bass music is a global scene, Bassism's previous releases have featured the work of artists from Estonia to Spain as well as producers based within the YSA, and this first vinyl outing showcases the Finland sound of Helsinki duo Beep who are Olpek on the buttons, and CStar on the mic.

The wake and bake anthem is finally hitting the shelves!! 'Morning' is a breath of freshly picked sensi smoke, with a hook that will lock it on repeat in your memory bank to sing throughout the day. Olpek carries the Finnish Dubstep torch with this dancefloor gem. With the same complementary excitement as Clouds' 'Under The Dancing Feet' on Argon, crowds cheer and sing along as soon as CStar's voice comes in.

'Darkness' is quite possibly the prettiest Dubstep tune ever!! Mysterious, angelic, delicate, naked, but all the while arousing the bravery to conquer the fear of the dark, the unknown, the obscure. Vocoded vocals extend their softest hands to guide you through the offshore fathoms of space. Kiss goodbye the veils of venom to as you remain aloft in the serenity of confidence.

This album will be dropping HARD as a premier release by the talented Taos, recently signed to Section 8's new dubstep roster. Taos will be the first artist Section 8 has brought forth as a dubstep artist but it will not be the last. This man has a slew of badmon tunes coming forth on Section 8 and other labels. "We're definitely hoping for a future vinyl press in the next year! We have some more dubstep bangers coming from Ag3nda this winter as well not to mention our more typical techno-influenced hardstep and dnb", says the label.

Here are a couple clips from the SUDDEN LP if you wanna check out the whole LP go to the following links..

Soundclash is OUT NOW on Keysound recordings.

140bpm junglist garage. Big hook, big bass, big vocal.

Destroys the dance every time. Proper tune. Best thing I've ever done.

in-the-freaking-bag!!! A-side offers me pure rawness, Ugly Face has SUCH a raw groove! Can't wait to get it shipped over the pond! :D The B-sides are making this one of my favorite releases this year too! I can see myself using all three tracks in a set, but seriously, that A-side is stellar!
:D

Safe bro, glad ya feelin it, big ups for the support and kind words.

Dubsaw presents DSAW001 Culprate / Suspect & Switchdubs OUT

by dubsaw

To represent Dubsaw Recordings for this their debut release, who better to step up to the plate than Culprate! Signed exclusively to Dubsaw, Culprate is already making a filthy hole in the scene coming with a teched out glitchy style that proves devastating on any dance floor. “Don’t do that” is an epic tune with a really musical edge, the intro builds into an explosive drop of hard hitting bass and beats. For the flip a very naughty partnership lay down some serious bass face biznizz!! Suspect and Switchdubs’sRotary” is defiantly not for the weak hearted. This release is getting heavy DJ support from the likes of Trolley Snatcha, Stenchman, Flux Pavilion, Broken Note and many more, heavy artillery for any DJ’s record bag.
