E=MC^2 is Energy=Mass x Speed of light ^2. Can anyone here explain to me how energy and mass are associated with the speed of light.

On another note using the equation by theory mass is just solidified energy. So energy and mass are the same thing. Which also means with a large enough amount of energy you can create artificial gravity. If my calculations are correct with 2.06683x10^34 joules you can create gravity equal to the earth. And since energy weighs nothing you could place this on a space station/ship given that the equipment used to generate this gigantic amount of energy doesnt weigh the amount of a city bus. Unfortunately a city bus would probably be light compared to what it would take realistically.

Mt Eden were in town today, and I did not go for the obvious reasons. However, the facebook reactions after were too funny. There are so many bros at this show, that the only girl in sight, is the girl commenting on how she wishes she had gone. Priceless.
