Egg yolks has the good kind of cholesterol, except that almost all the micronutrients are in the yolk. Keep them.
http://authoritynutrition.com/how-many- ... d-you-eat/

Also I keep getting pain in the elbow from weighted pull ups. It just means you(r tendons and ligaments etc.) aren't ready for the weight yet. Scale back down and keep good form. If you can do the exercises with X weight with perfect form, move up.
I stopped doing weighted pull ups for now and started going for towel pull ups progressions towards having one arm at shoulder height of the other. (one arm is higher as the other)

Got a bit disillusioned with lifting a while ago and taking a short break atm to consider my options.

In my head I thought I was 'healthy', or at least healthier than non-lifters, although looking back I'm not so sure. I'd slam 2-3 scoops of pre-workout, thrash my body in the gym (but never any cardio - ever), then come home and eat loads of crap because "I'm bulking brah, who cares as long as it fits my macros". I'd feel pretty tired most of the time and bloated from eating so much.

I don't want to become as huge as I did a few years ago so going back to the drawing board and think I am going to start doing more 'caveman style' workouts that incorporate cardio with resistance training (don't worry, not gonna hop on the crossfit bandwagon lol). Bought some kettlebells a while back and gonna get a sandbag soon as well so I can do some different exercises. Also gonna shift some focus onto bodyweight exercises / calisthenics. Not gonna ditch the barbell and dumbells completely but my old approach wasn't making me happy even though I was getting bigger.

IIFYM isn't ENTIRELY off, but you can still have sensitivities to certain foods or certain abundancies of food. You do still need to get all your essential micronutrients and drink enough water, though.

Most of my food is probably grains, fruit, dairy, lean protein and most of my fat intake comes from the meat and dairy. It's not a 'perfect healthy diet', but I feel good and there's room for occasional junkfood in my diet.

Preworkouts are bullshit, though. Really don't improve my lifts at all.

I did recently drop cardio, but I'm doing 45 minutes of high rep work with 90 seconds in between sets, 6 times per week. When I'm cutting again I'll compare my cardio vascular health and how much of an effect it has had.

I dropped pre workout after reading some of Gene's links, and am also on six days out of eight with good results so far.

Yeah, working out in the evening made it impractical.

I used to use Craze (old formula) and the comedown from it made me feel near-suicidal. Had great workouts on it though. Not surprised it was pulled from the shelves!

I think the best effects from pre workouts are MENTAL. The focus, the determination, etc. You can get that by just getting into the gym with the right attitude.

Listen to a workout playlist dubstep version on youtube imo.

Fojizz though. Whenever i´m not really in the mood, watching some video´s of some guys I look up too really motivates as well. Reminds me what I want to achieve.

For starters, those properly fuck your knees so be careful :Q:

I'd recommend the Nike FlyKnit for you.
