His growls are good but he mostly does vowel basses, and the vocoder can eat the life out of your computer (Unless you have a tower). The bass from that Let's Pretend sounds like something on massive with some vowel movement going on.
Now this should be of assistance:
(Its modern talking but he states that it can be made with a different patch)
Also you'll lag a bit less if you don't fuck with the band width like in Seamless's tutorials, you just need the sound really

Fuck you guys are posting the shit out of Josh's tutorials. Much love. I'm friends with him. His diarrhea basses are pretty good & he's shown me some fairly good tips within FM8 and sytrus. If your looking to learn EQ modulation for growls, his channel is a pretty solid place to start. Not sure he will post anything in the future, like tutorial wise. But the ones that he has on his channel are more than good enough.

Made a crazy glitch hop growly reese thing. Hard to categorize haha:D
I feel like we all need to stop trying to recreate growls, and instead come up with our own style. Fair enough, trying to recreate certain growls can be educational and useful, but despite people saying that they aren't going to use the sound because it has already been done before, they still do use it. I've seen countless xKore wannabes trying to make commercial music using pretty much exactly the same sounds as xKore himself and I admit, I am impressed with the similarity. However, the creativity of the music is lost because the artist is trying too hard to be like someone else. Who is going to be the next person to come up with a sound that nobody has heard before? A new sound?
Sorry about the random rant lol

Spoke with him quite a bit last night. Very very nice guy indeed and he says he does indeed have plans for more tutorials such as mastering.

Well thank you my friend. I've been slacking a shit ton lately with my Youtube channel. Me and Valzugg are currently making an 3 track EP. Which is turning out to be both of our best works so far. As for josh, he's been working a shit ton lately. I spoke to him earlier today on skype, he was doing a Far Too Loud 600 years remake. And fuck me, that shit sounds SICK. Hopefully he posts that on here or something if he gets the chance. But, besides that, thanks for the kind words and the continued support of some of the guys from our producers group
