I'm actually pissed that it's not that, or Wait VIP... both are miles better than this.
im actually inclined to agree with this sentiment though im tryina complain abt being graced with this tune...
ps ive seen a fb message from mala himself saying that I Wait Part II will come out on medi, one of the deep medi threads

chico_red wrote:I agree with keeping this one on dub! If a tune has been rinsed by the producer, and then he no longer plays it, then sure give it a release. But Eyez VIP just GOES OFF when the guys drop it! I still can't forget what it was like at Outlook! If I had that tune myself, then it would lose that "specialness". I am a DJ myself, and I would love to have it, BUT at the same time... I would rather be heading to Outlook 2011, looking forward to that Eyez VIP moment in the dmz arena once again!!!
Sometimes DJs need to have that odd special signiature tune that is unique to them. They have plenty of other releases. Be happy with the original Eyez in your bag!
See this is something I don't understand. To preface this, I am not bashing you in anyway when saying this, I'm just saying I don't understand it. If you still want it to have the "specialness" then just don't purchase the vinyl. Now, I understand this might sound kind of unreasonable because of course when a great tune is released, you're going to buy it, and I completely understand that. But maybe just buy it, and don't rinse it and only listen to it rarely, and on special occasions, or never at all, that way whenever you hear it out, that fresh and new aspect of the tune is kept in tact.
As a poster above stated, I really don't get the whole idea of, making a tune, and then being like "AHHH HAHAHA I'LL NEVER RELEASE IT FUCK YOU!" If you're going to make a tune for yourself, and not release it, fine, I completely understand. But if you're going to play your tune out for a year, 2 years, however long....then I feel that you should release it, music is made to be heard, not to be this uplifted pretentious act of "Listen to my tunes..they're so good that you can't have them."
I hope this doesn't offend anybody, but if it does, please don't come back with some mindless defamation, I'd much rather you help me understand a little bit more about something that I might have completely misunderstood.

I know it's hard to understand when you come from a generation where everything is readily available on the internet (I myself am a part of this generation).
The thing you have to understand is something called dubplate culture. If a producer holds on to a track we love it's not to spite us fans but to make us go down to see them play and hear it properly on a good system which will make the track even more special when you hear it.

got my stock notification email from chemical last night right as i was going to sleep... was like sweet ill buy it first thing in the morning. holy FUCK.
copies still in at mirage thankfully (theyve saved my ass twice for sleeping now with this and AWD001), does anyone know how many of these were pressed up and if its going to get a full release at some point? i see thats its being tagged as a limited promo, otherwise would be the only dmz w/ no art since the first 2 right?

So glad I bagged a copy of this. This is more or less my 'ultimate tune' and tbh I never thought it would see wax. Now it just needs to reach my door safely and I will be one happy man.

probs 1000 got pressed...if people have gotten confused, broken house dub isn't a new label it's just the name of the dmz online store and this is the only version of the release, as mala has stated on his fb and in the thread in the general section. Glad everyone's managing to get a copy though. I couldn't take no chances and had to buy it immediately as I saw mala's fb post. Turns out I brought it 2 mins after it went on sale lol...such a fukkin fiend for that vinyl
however, i can't believe there are some people still complaining about it getting released over others? doesn't make sense to me at all..i think its just short of a miracle that this, lucifer and...AND ruff lovin' made it to the record shops
outs to mala and i'm seriously intrigued as to wahat dmz: 022 is (hopefully either enter dimensions/marduk or harvest/enter dimensions) and what the dmz gang have in store for 2012

watching this video gives me the most brutal chills...
owning this record is gonna be amazing, but i'd trade it for being able to hear it on a system just once

To be fair, this release is fairly unprecedented - how often is it a VIP like this comes out?

Would agree with this if it wasn't for the fact that there's still so many special DMZ dubs around (even DMZ tunes which made it to vinyl still sound special - I don't think I could ever stop getting excited about The Goat Stare) that letting one slide at xmas is only gonna make a lotta vinyl heads happy... you jammy bastards.
