Adrialin had the option for paying a deposit or the full sum. I picked just deposit of course.
Not everything listed as available will actually be available. The first one I went for, I paid the deposit, then next day they apologised as the owner of the apartment had already rented it out without letting them know. They did apologise and gave me another apartment. It was more expensive but they did knock 25 euros off. Ah well.

Well, looks like it's as guessed - no apartment help from Outlook if you haven't already got one sorted.

Yup. Not too happy that they've left it so late to inform everyone but beggars can't be choosers and I guess its not really their fault as it sounds like Croatian tourist board has dicked them about a bit.
I've been sneaking quick searches in at work. Found a lush apartment only 6km from Stinjan but it was only after I checked google maps that I realised it was as -the-crow-flies and required getting a ferry.

Gonna work something out but I'll be damned if I'm camping.

Hey guys just received this email:
OUTLOOK FESTIVAL ACCOMMODATION
Firstly we would like to apologise for the lack of communication regarding apartments for Outlook. This has been down to poor communication links with the Tourist Agency we were advised to use in Pula.
We’ve just returned from a two day visit to Pula where we were trying to resolve the accommodation issues we have been facing.
The tourist agency we were working with ran into problems finding enough beds for us and have now said that they cannot commit to finding anymore accommodation for our customers.
That agency will only work with apartments that are completely above board and have the correct licenses to accommodate people, and like many places in the world much of the accommodation that can be found in this region is rented without proper paperwork in order to avoid taxes.
We were unable to find another partner to take care of everyone’s needs so aside from those customers we have already taken deposits from we will not be able to co-ordinate any additional accommodation in apartments for our festival customers – you will have to do this independently.
If you have already paid you deposit on accommodation with us your booking is safe and you will be contacted shortly with details of where you are staying.
If you haven’t managed to organise accommodation through us yet we can only apologise, we were left in the dark for quite some time by our partners in Pula. There is still plenty of time to sort something out so everything should be ok.
So if you haven’t organised accommodation yet what we advise is. . . . . . .
The Campsite!
For ease of access to the site and general good vibes we would strongly advise that people make use of the campsite. Believe us, this is not like camping at Glastonbury, this place is beautiful and for future Outlooks it will feature massively in the festivals set-up. Just have a look at this short video to get an idea of how beautiful it is.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuoYmqRJCjU
It really is the place for fun at the festival - shops, shaded areas, restaurants, bars, beach parties, snorkeling, jet-skiing, water-skiing, banana boats and only 10 minutes walk from the festival site.
The nearest village with apartments is 15 minutes walk from the campsite so at least 25 minutes walk from Fort
Campsite places are just £28 for the 4 nights and can be purchased here -

If you have your heart set on an apartment. . . .
then there are still beds available in the area so don’t worry but you will need to organise this on your own.
If you do intend on doing this then we advise that you look at one of the following areas – Fazana, Valbandon, Stinjan or Veli Vrh. These areas are all within a couple of km of the site.
The best way to find accommodation in these areas is to Google-search, alternatively check out these websites which are two of the bigger agencies in Croatia.

hopefully the campsite isn't too hot if it's the only option now

It won't be the heat that's the problem, it'll be the random thunderstorms that might hit!

You'll be lucky to find an apartment now thats a decent distance from the festival. I ended up booking a room in a hotel in Fazana. Cost a lot more than what i was expecting but after being dicked about booking apartments and then them falling through, I felt it was worth it for the piece of mind. Still waiting to hear back about an apartment in Stinjan but the agency are being fucking slow.
If you do book an apartment, check the agency's Ts & Cs as a lot of them charge a 90% cancellation fee if you change your mind within 30 days of arrival.

I just went to the Post Office and said I want Croatian money... I got given Kunas. So did my mate on a separate occasion. I'm gonna get 50 euros as well just in case though because my transfers are coming from Italy (hopefully!)
