Cheers guys for the feedback i have since sacked the intro hahaha!

@ Gombles, really liking the drum pattern in this man, flows really nicely alongside the melody, may be just my headphones, but theres a little bit to much high in there for me, on the hats, ill check on a proper system soon though as im sure its my headphones lol
@ Hakka, the pad at the beginning is great, lots of variety, bass is also great, not TO dirty, but not to soft either, really like, ill have to get onto soundcloud to favourite ;)
@Reign, I aint been listening to all the moaning blah blah about drumstep, if i like a tune, i like it, no matter what sub-genre it is, and i really like this, i like the volume your drums are at, i find that in most other drumstep its far to high (for me at least) but yours is at a perfect level, reallly feeling the lead line aswell

right mine,

Soundcloud

A new WIP from me and rofh, its almost finished now, so this version is a little old, (only first half) so nothing has changed in it, (apart from a few tweaks here and there)
would appreciate a few remarks :D
(more so on the soundcloud player ;)

also, if theres any labels reading and feeling this then hit me up :) looking to release a 4 track ep

@ Triggy Cheers man, yh Pm me or comment here if you find it is too high, like i said using Hifi speakers atm so might just be my system, cause my monitors are in the post -.-
Like the track man, really like the feel to it, nice and dark, love at 320 when it's done ;)! can;t think of any improvements atm tbh, i'll keep listening aha

@Triggy intro was abit cheesy with that flanger/flangus/phaser was just a bit too much
i cant seem to grasp most of your track
1.30-2.00 worked for me tho :)
tho good mix and loving the sound design of the "wobble" but not very keen on how its arranged
keep it up !

heres my latest:

@Gombles - I really don't know what to say, it is amazing I love the bass and the percussion is good, I think if you were wondering where to go, maybe try a dnb section at the end?

@masm - I think where the wobble is, it was little limp it needs to be louder to give it that oompff and maybe some more bass in there as well, but a really nice intro, maybe just compress the whole audio file to give it that litte bit more

@reignz - nice vocal sample :) I like the percussion got that nice drum step feel, unlike some who try and make it sound all stuttery, but not glitchy enough to be nice. I think it just needs tightening up a bit overall on the drums, but can't wait to hear more

@Triggy - I agree with Culprate, the drop is good and has potential it just needs to hit a bit harder, I'd say compress add a crash and some white noise and a very heavy, bassy kick, then add some more bass to the wobble. But overall I am loving that sound. Especially liking the synth at about 23secs in :) Keep it up

I have two tracks here and really need some help on deciding where to go with them, both are quite ambient. Really would appreciate some feedback, and after hearing these if someone would like to do a collaboration feel free to talk to me about it. Here are the two tracks:

Soundcloud
This one has a Jazzy chord progression, I really want to know should I use the dissonant or harmonic chords for the intro?

Soundcloud
This is arpeggio, I was wondering if I should maybe drop it into something filthy at the end or drop it and bring it to an old school dub vibe?

All feedback is appreciated, positive or negative.
Thanks

Yeah, ive played around with the drop since he commented that, i think you'd agree that it hits a lot harder now, as you said, i layered up a few more kicks and a subtle white noise to it, glad you like it =]

I feel your pain, I'm not getting much feedback either, I like this track quite Burial I think, but I'm not using my headphones atm just my computer speakers, I'll give it a good listen tomorrow. From what I can hear it is good. Maybe filter rims slightly. it is very nice though. Maybe add a small breakdown section to alter things a bit and keep interest.

I like how it starts, you drop in your main part kinda abrupt , but that's not the big issue. I get the feeling ur beat is totally off, like the drums don't match up at all. Drum samples are good, just the beat is wrong IMO... get some more opinions on it, its late, im tired that could be it aswell :)

Working on this remix, it's on NG , cba to upload all my WIP on soundcloud. NG doesn't bite, it works just as well as soundcloud :mrgreen:

ergh i forgot to post my feedback on the recent tracks, my bad

@NoirPantalon:
mb: beef that sub up, aint punching through like it should. really liking the lead though, subtle =] works nicely

monkjump. make it drop quicker, i thought it was about to, then it went back to the intro, build was really nice, but it needs the drop to be there (in my opinion) really nice percussion in this one though

@Nacklewicket:
bit to happy and up beat for me, but really like the sounds in this, an octave down would be my prefrence, but as i said, thats just me :P good work

@idlemode, lovely synth and that vocal sampling keeps it from sounding repetitive, def feelin a headhunter/matt-u type vibe on this one

@tripwire, dig the syncopation with the drums but that sitar sample is what stood out for me, good stuff

@noirpantalon for the arpeggio i could see it going filthy...filtered drums sound cool in the beginning but i think the kick pattern after the drop is def easier to follow, and id also bring out the clap/snare some more.... interested to see what the bass/synth would sound like after the drop tho

ez all, took my first stab at reason yesterday, went for a guido/numan vibe...thinking the lead synth might be too cheesy but any ideas will help me out big time :)

@Crowd Control - thanks for the feedback :)

like the tune man, lead is cool. i always strugle to decide with these kind of sounds. i'd keep it.
make a second version with a totally different sound if you're not totally happy, then listen again in a week and decide which you like best of the two.

@ boring, i like the noises you got, but i think it needs a lil more sub. And then maybe a heavier bass to come in,not too many climaxes, it stays pretty constant.

Tell me what you think about this track.

@idlemode

I havent posted on hear in a long time but theres something about your track, I started listening and was thinking yeah it sounds ok but theres not alot going on just one synth sound a little bit of vocal ghosting by then suddenley at 1:23 it just works so well from that point on and becomes clear what it is, absolutley brilliant comes together perfectley and has a really great groove to it, would be good to hear the finished product.
