Do these joint SK/US war games have to happen up near the border?
Couldn't they be held, less provocatively, further south?
After all we're dealing with paranoid control freaks leading the other side...

It's deliberately visible muscle flexing, NK couldn't beat them and they want to remind them that though yeah they could be a little less antagonistic.
