I was at the count in witney's (david camerons constituency) 2010 general election due to working with the green party. i was on tv for a bit when i wasn't in the bar. there i met comedian and wannabe mp aaron barschack who's campaign was funded by will self. he was the guy dressed as jesus if anyone saw it. i also met alan 'howling laud' hope (the leader of the monster raving loony party) a couple of times.
when question time came to witney, i was sitting in the front row and the labour mp (for the life of me i can't remember who it was) came up to us at the end and spoke to us.
walked right past david cameron without realising it at school a few years ago.
i met orlando weeks from the maccabees. my friend touched his bum
i've touched donny tourettes arse when he stage dived at a gig
i met loefah a few months ago and vivek a couple of weeks before that. also trolley snatcha a while ago. i was fucked and didn't realise it was him, but noticed he had a big bag so i asked if he was playing that night.
i've met greg davies and stewart lee at a local comedy club
rob da bank used to call me 'panda pops' after my email address almost weekly on his radio 1 show.
i made mary anne hobbes laugh live once. i felt proud after that.

clutching on straws now...i met henrik pederson (former bolton wanderers striker) before a game where they beat newcastle 1-0. he scored the only goal. also got sir bobby robsons autograph that day.

these have been pretty shit, but i've got david attenboroughs number. my mates also got sophie ellis bextor's number.

also my friend has been round thom yorkes house, owns colin greenwoods old dog, was backstage at their gig in oxford many years ago and her dad tunes radioheads piano. her dad also sold a piano to thom yorke.

that's much better than mine, although my granddad is one of the only people to have witnessed a nuclear bomb and survived.

Not really legitimate claims of 'fame', but are nice to think about when I feel my life's too dull...

- The owners of Electric Lady studios personally flew over to the UK to 'Win and Dine' my Dad when he worked for Focusrite back in the 80s. They were going bankrupt and wanted to make sure he finished building this...



- My Granny was a Matron at a Private School in Cambridge and used to look after a load of famous peoples' kids (Jeffrey Archer, for one) but the most interesting was Film Score composer Harry Gregson-Williams who's done the MGS games, and COD (and obviously, sampled by Burial in Archangel). Apparently he was a lovely little boy who used to sit with her at lunchtimes. I don't think she realises quite how successful he is now, bless her.

- A few years back now, I got added on MySpace by some 18yr old girl from Mexico who always used to call me her "Cute English Boy". Nothing about her seemed out of the ordinary. Had no more then about 100 friends, but they were all really really attractive and looked like models...
Wasn't until she'd uploaded the photos of her at some awards show that I found out she was a huge star, had, uh, been in the Disney Movie "The Cheetah girls", won some Grammys, etc... Was a total mindfuck to think we used to have long, late night chats in broken English, heh.

- (this is not so shit) I'm related to Sir David Frost (He married into the family) and The Duke of Northumberland- if you go back long enough down the blood-line, we were close friends of Queen Mary, who supposedly haunts the ex-ancestral home (AKA, some huuuge Tudor Mansion which my mum grew up in and am quite gutted it got sold before I was born).
Marlon Brando once shot a film there as well. It is not his best work, though.

- Also; the place had a stack of valuable paintings. We're talking 10's of Millions of pounds, or Priceless. I am quite fucked off they will go to my Cousin eventually 'cos he's never even lived in UK- as I'd be the oldest heir still living in this country, it seems a shame to take them away- the tnuc better not swan off back to America and sell 'em all

Erm... My other Granny is Dracula star Bella Lugosi's so called 'Lost leading woman" as she acted with him, age 19, when he did the stage version of Dracula in the UK. She would've ended up in Hollywood, but issues with Bipolar meant she liked to take all her clothes off and walk across Tower Bridge in London and quite acting (probably should've kept that secret as journalists are always trying to track her down, haha)
