Can anyone tell me what kind of currency I should bring? I know I'd need Croatian currency if I'm venturing into the city, but should I have pounds for on-site, or do the vendors at the festival run off kunas as well?
Thanks!

Edit: Nevermind, looks like that was answered earlier.
Easiest is just to draw cash on your bank card when you get there. Either from the cash machine on site, or one in Pula town.
Sweet. I think I'll do that then.
So is it safe to say £300ish should be enough for the festival?

Should be. Think I spent less. Depends on how much you plan on eating in restaurants. At worst, if you're running low you can use an atm anyway.

Are the food vendors there expensive? I can't exactly bring a cooler and food with me on an international flight, so my options are going to be limited.

there's a little onsite bakery that hooks it up with bread, pizza, baked goods, etc. fucking cheap from what i can remember but i don't recall exact prices, sorry.
there's also a little convenience store and a restaurant, as well as festival vendors with burgers and the like. none of it was stupid expensive and the burgers were mahooosive!
ps- get an alcoholic smoothie by the beach stage- your hangover remedy, morning nutrition and beach skank all in one go

Nope, they were quite reasonably priced for burgers, hotdogs, etc. Basically, all the vendors which accept tokens were cheap. The campsite restaurant was a bit pricier but still not extortionate (queues were pretty horrendous last year though, even with the burger stand they specially set up). There's a little bakery by the main gates that does bread, pizza slices, etc too that are good value (plus it opens at like 7am, just in time for a post-festival snack!). There's also a supermarket in the campsite.
If you don't live on the campsite or in Stinjan, then it might be a bit more expensive as you might end up eating in restaurants a lot, and they'll cost a bit more. Pizzas should still be good value though.

It's a relief reading this stuff. For whatever reason, I had it in my head that Outlook was a dead primitive festival, like food was scarce

I think there are probably a couple hours (between 5-7am?) where food is a bit scarce. In the main festival bit last year, there was food till at least 5am I think. I'm not sure what time the food stalls close at the campsite but you have to wait till the bakery opens for food otherwise. Best keep some stashed for the early morning munchies!

My trip there works out like a fairly decent holiday! Go to Glasgow, stay the night on the 28th, get a train at 9:40 to London (£40 for 1st class train ride, whatchu know bout dat) so we get to explore London for the day. We've booked the night in a hostel in London which is roughly 30 minutes walk from Victoria Station too. It's all fell into place rather nicely, apart from my fucking passport...
I'm relieved I'm not the only one with passport woes! I'm still waiting for mine so I can book my camping ticket, the folks at eufest emailed me today saying they need your details confirmed at least a week before.

I'll see what my mate says about the flat thing, don't want to organise it without consulting him
Yeah, I'm camping and still haven't bought my ticket as it requires a passport number which I don't have just now

Has anyone heard from the apartment booking lady? It's getting close to four weeks before the festival and I hear they've run out of two room apts. I paid the deposit though so I should be good right?

PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN BEFORE!!!! Just wondering could you get away with buying 4 days camping and then just camp extra nights without paying? Does anyone actually check? Can you pay for extra nights when you get there?

Did you really need to start a separate thread for this question too?
Don't see why you would want to, at £8 a night it's hardly a bank breaking amount of money to pay for a service.

I'm just working out how many days camping to pay for before it sells out.
Yes it is cheap but if I can camp for free for a few days I would obviously rather do that and spend my money on other things
