haha yep, that thread was hilarious, i was too scared to post in it though, thought i'd get killed.
Also, filthzilla has about 4 million comments every tune he makes, hardly underrated!
there's a guy called lylo who comes through sometimes, got a bunch of amazing tunes/ loads of different styles, most up for wav download too! Soundcloud

why kid yourself? the majority of us like ALL forms of music within reason, there are a few bad apples who live to brown nose mediocre sine-wave music and call it 'deep' regardless of how emotionless it is, but for the most part ive seen nothing but supportive, unbiased heads around here who listen to all styles if they are executed well.
Honestly, its that kind of attitude that has perpetuated the rifts in dubstep we're seeing right now... And whats driving most of us off of dubstep as a whole, regardless of its aggro vs. heady vibes.
You're probably right mate.
It's just hard to be optimistic when people are telling me my tunes are 'soulless'.

gravity......his tune 'hydraulic' is probably the sickest thing i've ever heard. quality stuff.
static cast/objekt.....pretty sure he's been making some serious waves for himself in the bass community since objekt001 dropped, and deservedly so. i remember my jaw dropping first time i heard 'the goose that got away' at decent volume.
soosh......extremely beautiful and dope sound.
grade1......i've probably played his tune "cubicles" at least a hundred times. killer vibe.
tripwire.......trips got mad potential.....last few pieces he sent over were sounding really good, really quite funky and focused sounding. could totally see him getting something out on medi if he keeps at it.
yoseph......dudes music speaks for itself....impossible production chops, groove, super sick drums and synth work. lots of energy and really fun to listen to.....definetly one to watch.

They're probably just older than you tbh. Younger people tend to lean towards more upbeat, energetic stuff. You can always respond by telling us oldies that we listen to balladic dubstep

When you get to my age, you get even slower. Right now I'm sampling my dialysis machine and putting a sub underneath it.
