I've never heard him say that he only uses massive, I think he uses some effects too.
There was one particular video that I saw on You tube where he was interviewed backstage and she asks him "what software do you use" He said strait up Massive and FM8.
I dont doubt he uses effects but at the core its Massive I believe. I could be wrong, dont stone me. hah

That gives me an idea of vocoding my voice to make some bass sounds. The options are limitless. Now I have to know what vocoder Im gonna use. All the ones that come with cubase suck. I gotta get a good one.

I'm curious to know why people aren't as interested in Feed Me/Spor's production techniques. IMO some of his stuff is absolutely wicked and really well produced. I mean I really like Skrillex's stuff and you can't argue with the production on his tracks but I'd regard Feed Me pretty close to him production wise

I made this song over the summer and I think I got pretty close to Skrillex's bass sound. I used Native Instruments "The Mouth" vocoder and some simple distortion.
It definitely sounds spot-on to me... tell me what you guys think.

Im sorry I don't mean to sound rude but why does everyone want to re create skrillex sounds? Sometimes I don't know why producers want to copy others.

well this was sort of what I ended up doing while keeping some Skrillex-ish sounding basses and drums in mind while working on a new track. Soundcloud
