wow... I'm gutted i'm not going to new york. it sounds like a regular love nest...

Thanks to everyone voting for us in the awards :) currently we're in 1st place which is unbelievable. I think the 'best album' category is really important as well - making an album you really get to flex your production outside of the box more than usual single releases so I'm happy that everyone seems to appreciate that :)

Dear god I hated every single fucking second of that best album voting process. I was so fucking torn. First I had to deal with whether or not to choose Author or City Limits Vol. 2. (I'm an enormous Silkie fan def my long time favorite producer.) ...So that was hard enough, then out of the blue, I see the nomination for "Can't Sleep." I'm thinking...."Awwww fuck man...what do I do.?'

At the end of it all, I just thought of the immense feeling of excitement which I was feeling weeks prior to the Author release. I would listen to the samples eveyr day on juno. Though I love Silkie, and I his album is definitely my number 2 for the year, I had to give it to the Author LP. Nothing beats the smooth vibes on the album.....As a jazz musician, I love anything that has a little bit of jazzy/funk infused into it.

^^Yeah, but as an album, Author works the best, imo.

Seriously, more than two months now since I first got it, and still hasn't lost a single bit of quality. And by god has this album been played out at our house. I'm sure even my housemates, who aren't even so much into dubstep, know the running tracklist by now.

Not only is the production absolutely off the hook - the styles are so diverse, yet work together so well. Not a single weak track on it, and the range of emotions it covers is just stunning. Best album of the year hands down, and for me perhaps even my most favourite dubstep album ever. Was a bit gutted that it didn't win at the awards to be honest. As great of an album as Can't Sleep is, it comes nowhere near the originality of Author.

The tunes i've heard from them that havent seen a release yet are seriously impressive. No idea how far off certain tunes are from being finished and contemplated for release.

After Time and You Made Mistakes Too both come to mind. Sounding great. Any new releases will be snapped up.

Looking forward to J.Sparrow's set at Exodus on Saturday. Hopefully there will be a chance to hear some Author
