Thing is he never invented anything. He was a brilliant businessman and knew how to sell products and make lots of money, but the world would not have been any different without him. He revolutionized the world of personalized computers, mp3 players, digital music, and animation.
He invented these things along with the engineers at Apple. My guess is he comes up with the concepts and the engineering teams make it into existance. Although by now we would almost definitely have all these things i listed Steve Jobs and Apple were the pioneers. Same goes for Henry Ford, without him i have no doubt in my mind that we would still have automobiles. But he was the pioneer in that field so we give him the credit. A huge majority of our personalized computers feed of Steve Job's creativity.
