Anyone Up For A "1 Song A Week Challenge" With Me & Others?

Just finished arrangement,really different for what i normally go for.Spent most the time trying to get acapella in time,kept the bass and beats well simple.Used a completely different technique for the bass,i used logic test tone plugin for sub and used sends to make the mid growl,i'm pretty chuffed it has come out like it has just hope you all give it a thumbs up.

What do you mean you used sends to make the mid growl? How would you go about that...?

I used logic's test oscillator set it to around 40-50 hz so had a nice warn sine wave sub.Sent this to a bus then added bitcrusher just to create overtones then logic's auto filter for some band pass growl nonsense.Sounds quality.I also sent the bus output to another buss that i added guitar rig too,added more overtones to thicken the sound up a bit then mixed the levels to taste.Very simple yet sounds fucking heavy.

yeah, i used to do some of my midrange synths in a similar manner... was just distortion plus reverb tho... it can get you a pretty nice sound

It is a really good technique,not only does the sub sound absolutely booming when you do pitch edits if effects the mid pitch too obviously.It is a quality effect that i think people should try,takes mins to set up and no fanny assing around with any synths.

surely you could produce any style or genre
why limit yourself to dubstep?
levitation, vocals, etc. all can be in a hip hop vein.

I think you misinterpreted my post, I was asking to do a hip hop sort of thing next week, NOT dubstep.
