Why coki would choose the last year, after this forum has fallen to shit to join and use the corndance smilies i have no idea. Likely some young pup who thinks hes funny. Misguided business right there. From what I know of coki hes a quiet guy, and the last thing I can see him doing is getting involved in a forum conversation over his umpteenth release.

And to pour ever more fuel on cornbreads fire, to say you need to hear it on a rig is not just saying it changes the rhythm etc. of a tune (which it quite often does to be honest, with the bass taking a leading melody/percussive role of the tune rather than a harmonic one) its about hearing it get dropped live, with a crowd of people around you, with whatever tunes have been mixed before it up to that point, and so many factors. There is a world of difference between a youtube clip, or even a record on your system at home, and hearing something like this get dropped at something like system. At a night the tunes arent seperate entities, just all part of a flow of a night. Id never play this by myself at home, hence why im not going to buy it (if i was playing out regularly to proper crowds i might, but im not) but to hear 2 hours of mala b2b vivek, hyping a crowd to epic proportions, then peak with a tune as mental as this, combined with that vocal, with then anti war dub mixed out of it...you see the point in tunes like this! Its like listening to a weird noise track from the middle of some pink floyd album on its own, then saying it was crap.

Looks like the promos are gone. I googled it and the link on SOTU is no longer up, though I can see it was there earlier.

Considering the last DMZ dropped only a short while back I'll be interested to see how long it is until the full release comes out.

I remember this track from Mala's Xlr8r podcast, dope tune no doubt.
Not sure I'll be rinsing it though, not really a fan of one sided vinyl... lazy IMO.
