I'm not that bothered about the sample myself, it's just a shame such a massive wanker is MCing over it. The video and song/lyrics look like/sound like an advert.

I come from a hiphop background, have been producing hiphopbeats since I was 10 or 11, used to buy the most obscure records to get some samples that nobody's ever used. And I would never sample something straight from a Mala tune like that. People really don't seem to have any kind of sampling ethics

'Tradition' is logic for lazy people who can't do logic.

Because then you're at least attempting to look beyond your own bubble.

Not "getting it" just means that I'm not immersed in one of the most ridiculous and stupid and narrowminded, counter-intellectual little subcultures (bar perhaps dub or black metal) that youth culture ever had to offer. The music is decent, but the morality itself is an attack on living brain tissue.

he may well not be a wanker, have never met the bloke in person so I shouldnt really judge. But the fact he's going on about women sucking dick for products, when he's the one who's riddled his tune with references to name brands, makes him sound like one to me.

It’s not like dance artists are any better

I wonder if Kelis cares this much about James Blakes - Cmyk or brandy about Blawan – getting me down
Or Alicia Keys about Mala - Alicia or even Mavado about Compa’s career building refix

Burial - ray j - one wish

the list goes on

i keep going to write a more civil and constructive arguement but then realise theres no point as you quite clearly have this strange double-standard close-minded view set in stone

I believe in an invisible man in the sky but I've never seen him. Oh yeah, I hate the gays too. You wouldn't get this, though. Only christians know where I'm coming from. And if don't know where I'm coming from, you're pretty narrowminded.

 guys it's Rayman. The fact that you are taking him seriously is a tad ridiculous.
And this the instrumental bangs, shame the game is one who's on it. I would love to hear somebody else
edit: I listened again and his flow isn't bad...the lyrics are just sooooooo...wank.
