:o I like you.

Speaking about debates, arguments and other oral exchange of thoughts, I wish that delivery wouldn't become more important than the actual content, as it seems to happen so often.

Basically what a salesman's (my) job is. Using special words (alot of it designed for confusion) with a sense of security, the customer feels like you're their friend. I hate it.

it's a funny thing. very thin line here. i work in marketing and it's my job to design pages that will make someone want to click through and look at advertisting. this is basically sales as well.. and there are certain things that, statistically, work better.. for instance using the words "next" or "continue" make people click more than something like "click here"..

i was just having this conversation last night. delivery of information is equally as important as the content. if you want your content to be understoody, you need to select the best words to convey your information. you can take this pretty far, but basically i feel like they need to be teaching trivium in schools at an early age.

as far as sales goes.. i'm a big fan of buyer beware. if you are going to make a serious purchase, do your homework first. and if you are in sales, you can still sell without being a fucking liar or putting up smoke screens. thought this also depends on the quality of the product. it's a lot easier to sell something you honestly feel is awesome.
