Once again, just something i just wrote down:

This should be useful for automation.

Cheat sheet LFO Rates -> value to tempo synced (THOR, probably any other synth as well)
0 = 4/1
8 = 3/1
18 = 2/1
28 = 7/4
34 = 6/4
40 = 5/4
50 = 4/4
58 = 3/4
64 = 2/4
72 = 3/8
82 = 1/4
88 = 3/16
96 = 1/8
104 = 1/8T
114 = 1/16
122 = 1/32

Btw if there's another topic for tips n tricks like this please tell me :P

I dont think you can, you can load up a different one via each channel or clear the whole patch to get a fully new one.

Why would you want to do that anyway?

Right mouse on the number of the drum channel, then 'remove sample'. Like this;

LOL

Because you can eitther open a new redrum, or start a fresh one, or use a audio splitter for each channel if your after that.

Can someone explain how the spider cv/audio mergers and splitters work? I read the stuff on them in the discovering reason article, but Im still not sure how to use them, can anybody lay it out for me?

As the name suggests it splits or merges audio or cv signals.

For example you could use the audio merger for sidechaining your kick to your bass. In this case you'd route the output of the device where your kick is into the splitter. This way you can have up to 4 outs per signal, or even more by using addional splitters. For sidechaning you'll just need 2. So now you have split/doubled the signal, you route 1 to a mixer, so you actually can hear your kick, the 2nd signal you'd route to the sidechain input on the back of the mclass compressor.

An example of CV merging might be to route an lfo and mod envelope to the merger side of the spider. This can be used to create more complex cv signals. You could also merge different lfos going at different speeds which can give some more interesting modulations. Splitting can be useful for sending the same modulation source, to different parameters.

Oh merging different modulation sources to 1 merger is a _great_ idea!

Thanks! :D

It's what values the rates are if you use the LFO knob unsynced. (from 0-127)

Also comes in handy even in sync mode when drawing automation, as only the numbers are displayed :wink:

This, but also things like, assigning it to a combinator knob, which also don't show the rates.
