heavy one. like it. agree with the bass... could be deepah.
could i have a 320 when finished?

I tried making it deeper, but it started crackling and making a lot of noise..
almost sounded like a burp noise played by a very old record player.
My soundcard is not even a piece of shit.. it's a piece of a piece of shit.
See, I'm not really an active member here, I only started posting in September,
'till then I only experimented with producing, and looked for interesting tips & tricks, etc.
What I mean is I'm not familiar with the music-producer language, for example,
I can only guess what 320 means, but honestly, I don't know.
I think it means the song, but I don't see the relation between the number and the meaning.
Forgive my stupidity.
Thank you though!

Thank you very much! Yeah, I was tired as fuu- so I didn't want to spend more time on it, but yes, I will add more precs for sure - some filthy/wet sounding samples.. drips, drops, broken glasses, w/e
I was kinda worried about what DSF members might think about my intro, because it's not something you commonly hear in Dubstep.
And yes, 1 drop might be enough.. unless the track is like 6mins or more.
But what do you mean "take care about the samples" ? I am really curious what you mean by that.
fuck the dsf members man!

dubstep has no 'has to be like' if it feels like dubstep, it's dubstep! and especially with intros, i think you have all the fucking freedom. take it!
naw, what i mean with the sample is, that i have heard your sample many times. in many mixes. i think i even have the same one somewhere. it's a cool one, but it's overused. maybe you should sample an other little jamaican style toasting. just a thought!
btw. you misunderstood me with the drop. i think it's all fine with the drops!
Oh, I thought you said too much dropping, but now I know you meant the sample.
I used that sample because that is what came to my mind first - no shit lol - and I never extracted audio from movies, so I wanted to experiment with my holy bible, Fight Club.
I know that too many people love the movie, and that almost every single word in it is overused.. Trust me, it was hard no to sample from Ghost Dog - because Burial did it already.
I think I rather look for a decent classic movie to quote/sample from, so it would suit the intro.. some Jamaican guy's voice would be more random than the fightclub sample - I think even the FC sample doesn't suite a song with an intro like this.
But I feel like the second drop comes in a
little too early.. what do you think?
Hip-Hop had the advantage of being born before the age of information (the internet).
It had time to develop naturally into the complex subculture it is today. Dubstep didn't have a chance.
If Hip-Hop was a fully developed husky feared by millions, then Dubstep is the inbred chihuahua on steroids incapable of living but adored by billions.
