Didn't know about the new Developer stuff, that does sound good.
Quite bummed out I had to skip on Headless Horseman last weekend. He doesn't do many gigs I think.

Dunno if this will interest anyone but thought I'd post anyway.
This decent Dublin noise-rock band have covered a Blawan track

Yeah man! He did a sick one for CLR Podcast a few months ago
Can anyone suggest some "harder" techno but still with funky elements?

off the top of my head
older (90s-2003) blueprint stuff (outline, oliver ho, james ruskin)
zet stuff
some surgeon
fumiya tanaka's tresor releases
olga+jozef
infrastructure new york
fokus group
takaaki itoh
depends on what you mean by "funky" tho

Could do with some real belters, but I definitely like the selection
For fast, funky techno, go to some Ben Sims gigs. Older Blueprint stuff definitely fits the bill as well.
a lot of my older techno mixes had a lot of the real gritty tunes like from AnD or Sunil Sharpe but i've kind of grown really fond of shit like Exium and Developer so i usually stick to that stuff. now that i'm making mixes again i should incorporate more of those kinds of tunes tho
