Skittles is big, the production is a bit.. meh.. standard Icicle. Decent tune nonetheless but I wasn't blown away with it.
Has anybody listened to the Ulterior Motive album yet?

Only various bits on different websites and the single, quite like what I've heard. It's out next week isn't?

I kept hearing 'problem' and 'buffalo charge' at Outlook, I instantly got sick of Buffalo Charge

No idea when the UM LP is out.. kept seeing an article title calling it a junglist dream lol
Buffalo Charge is alright but they're trying too hard to make it Marka pt.2, its not good enough to be ramming down peoples throats imo so not surprised you quickly got sick of it. Marka on the other hand got a Damien Marley vocal and a David Rodigan VIP.. Skeptical >>>>>>>>>>>

wasn't Marka Dub Phizix' first release though? never quite understood why he gets so much credit for the tune when the rhythm work is packed with that signature Skeptical vibe.

he had a lot of releases on Critical before that, but they weren't that style, actually, did Never Been come out before Marka? I can't remember, but Marka is definitely more Skeptical sound than Dub Phizix
You should check the Dub Phizix back cat, he has a tune called 'Manchester Sound' or something and it always gets a get response when I play it

ah, the way discogs sorts its releases set me up. there are four or five other releases by him, all from 2011, that are listed lower than Marka.
nah I don't usually play any dnb and when I do I'm not very keen on promoting Dub Phizix. he (or his agent) does things in a very unsustainable way that's damaging the scene more than anything else... in my oppinion.

I already said in another thread Dub Phizix probably gets a lot of credit for it cause it was seen as a Manchester anthem, Dub Phizix and Strategy even did a worldwide tour off the back of it. So its easy to forget Skeptical was even involved unless you're clued up, most people aren't.
