Have you looked into HIIT - high intensity interval training? You basically go flat out for 30seconds, then crank it down to a walk for a minute or so, then flat out sprinting again, then walking...repeat the cycle like 10 times and you'll burn off more in 15mins than at a steady pace of 20mins.

The zone is different for everybody though. I generally only get properly into my zone when I'm about 4/5 exercises into a routine...arm hair stands up, start laughing uncontrollably etc.

yeah thats what im doing man

20 mins - 3 mins warm up jog, 15 mins of 30seconds on 30 off at 12.5mph, and then a 2 min warm down

haha yeah

i get into it doing weights but when i do cardio i cant slip into that zoned out state people say they get into, im constantly aware that im bored n about to keel over

I've been slakin' a bit, but last night I did a 45 minute ab workout. Last 15 minutes were hell and my whole core is sore today, but it feels nice to get back on my routine.

work out people, looking to get a new dumbbell, just want one to have lying about not to get hench but for tone,
what weight should i get?
have had these 5kg ones lying about for years but they're just 2 pu$$y to be worth it

If you just want to tone, get a 12/16kg kettlebell (without knowing exactly how much you can lift) and watch a few beginner kettlebell workout videos.

yeah don't honestly know how much i can lift, about 6 ft 3, probably around 70kg but dont really know for sure, regularly do 50 pushups a day, so i'd probably want something that starts q difficult and then gets natural and just do more reps

if that helps at all

doing bicep curls in front of the tv isnt going to give u 'lean tone'

ur already skinny iirc lol... if u do loads of repetitive exercise you'll just get skinnier

id put on some weight eating and doing heavy shit, then when ur heavier n bigger do loads of repetitive shit to get dat 'lean tone'

not really

like i look kinda big to the average person but when i go gym most are bigger than me :(

i couldnt be fucked with bulking and cutting tho so i decided to try do the 'impossible' and loose fat and gain muscle... its working pretty well. ive stayed 95kg and i just look bigger and more toned, so im assuming that im sucseeding :lol: probz an illusion side effect from all the gear im taking tho innit
