Everyone I've mentioned that I'd quite like to live in Bristol at some point to have reacted with incredulity, like everywhere beyond the m25 is bandit country. It's quite annoying now.

If you live outside of the M25 and suggest that you might want to move inside it, you get exactly the opposite response. So many of my friends from Somerset can't understand why I'd want to live in London.

People are routine-led and pretty unimaginative... they're just happy if they can do exactly the same shit every day.

you meany. It's not about routine for me it's about people, there is a lot of people in London, and I can't be arsed with them

oh man thats my favourite bit of london. millions of people, each with a different story to tell, all inhabiting the same space and avoiding eye contact on the tube.

dunno why i like it, it's a kind of romanticised view i guess.

To be fair where the fuck do people get on trains to work every morning and just stare at random people they've never met or seen before?

It's the reason newspapers have traditionally been so popular - nobody actually gives a fuck about current affairs they just don't want to have to look at other people on the way to work.
