I haven't seen so I edited out what I said but isn't it the old Pocahontas story backed up with amazing visuals as a marketing vehicle for Sony's 3D TVs?

avatar was fucking amazing..the only problem was the vapid teenage girls behind me giggling at everything until i asked them if they were 10 years old...they shut up then...for a bit...they seemed to find james horners score hilarious....possilbly because it wasnt akon...??

the story was fucking deep....amazing to have a film with such a blatant message as the number 1 film...it made its budget back on day one btw :o

3d glasses make crying multiple times in the theater less embarrassing

One last question, my left eye is broken. I only have about 30% vision out of it, can I do the 3D thing or will I be as frustrated as I am with magic eye pics?

"What dolphin? I just see my nan's wallpaper!"

I think that's one of Ewan's best films, in fact I might go insofar as to say his best film if you ignore Trainspotting.

Really? I have it on VHS

edit to add: I think you'll be forgiven for downloading it then, unless you really want to fork out £23 for it at Play.com
£9 from Amazon Marketplace and arrived in under 24 hours! :o

That's exactly what it is, but it's still a fantastic movie.

Thought Young Adam was pretty good too, though don't really rate Mr Mcgregor much tbh.

Watched Running Scared last night.
Despite Paul Walker's acting which involves doing everything in a needlessly aggressive way, it was actually really good for what I assumed was just going to be some run of the mill brainless action film.

I'm gonna agree with that, fantastic performance. Leftfield on the soundtrack also. 8)

Definitely his second best film.
