Hey, just noticed this was the works-in-progress thread. (thought it was the finished tune thread, which I usually peruse)
If you could lemme know when you have the finished version up I'd be most grateful!
Thanks!

edit:
first time posting to this thread so im going to start hitting folks up with feedback. this joint is called FM Dub. this is one of my legit attempts at making a dubstep tune, (do more hip hop and crunk shit)so i wanted to see if anyone was feeling it. feedback and criticism are def welcome. it needs a shitload more work on the mix so if you have any ideas holla

gave your tune a listen man - i felt that it was kind of boring. i'd suggest automating the LFO rate of the bass, adding some more hi hats/rides to move the song along more, and make your kick hit a little harder. the snare sounded nice - i'd like to hear that same fatness on the kick.

nuane some sparse stabs or flourishes on the higher end would def add some interest to the overall vibe. maybe echoing in and out against the vocals.

Thanks bro, all sound advice. Appreciate it mate.
Now lets see...
Love the feel of this. Very chill, very laid back, not something you see very often, and I like it. You might wanna add some more movement to the track, as a whole. Seems like it needs a more concrete focal point, which could add the movement in itself. Otherwise, ace.

To me, this is begging for some offbeat reggae-esque piano stabs. That might fill it out how you like.

Aye, I was thinking either a couple of well used vocal samples or something like that. Thanks for the feedback anyway mate. Appreciated.

That's a nice and chilled out tune you got there, kudos. I'm not sure about the crackly atmosphere in the background though, it reminds me of getting dust on a vinyl when mixing. Out of interest, what is the original that the vocals come from? Post up again when you get a melody on there

i like the track dude. levels all sound good here.
like the bassline. think it all works well together, lyrics and the track. good work.
