Last movie I saw was Avatar this week. I hadn't been out to the movies since District 9 last summer. Funny how both movies sort of have a similar plot but couldn't be more different in terms of overall tone & presentation.
I'll say that, while I basically knew the entire plot of Avatar from the moment I saw the first extended trailer, it didn't stop it from being one of the most jaw-dropping movies I've ever seen. Sometimes things just live up to (and deserve) the hype bestowed upon them by the masses. For the last few days I've actually been itching to go see it again.
I just hope we don't have to wait another 15 years for another Cameron movie.
Still Walking - kind of film where not much happens in a lovely sort of way and the characters were beautifully observed.Had a raging hangover yesterday too so this movie fitted me mood perfectly.
awesome movie, quite scary how much weight christian bale lost for his role. i read somewhere that he was aiming to loose another 10 pounds but the director insisted that it was too dangerous.

I thought it was ace until the ending.
Agreed. Completely predictable after fight club lol

what didn't you like about it?
The ending just brought it all down, it was an ok ending but it just wasn't right for the film imo.
