Pretty naff ending. But good none the less
I hated it, if I was the father I'd have eaten that kid ages ago and kept a leg to barter with on the road. He was always fucking whinging, toughen the fuck up son or I'll rape you and whilst eating you.

When it comes to films I am very hard to please

I like kingldub's taste in films though.

Saw it in the cinema when it came out... all I remember is that it wasn't scary but was VERY unpleasant at times.

Oh my days, that movie kept me awake for weeks. Freaky freaky movie.

Watched The Fourth Kind last night, not brilliant, could have been much better, but some real jumpy bits in it!

Tried to watch 2012 the other day but after the 10th consecutive cgi-ridden action scene I had to switch off as I couldnt take any more. All to much 'eye-candy' and 'style' over substance.

Also tried to watch The Road but turned it off about half way through. Got tired of the slow pace, same grey back drops and that kid pissed me off big time.

2 films at different ends of the spectrum and I couldnt make it through either.

Just watched X-men Origins and really enjoyed it, didnt think I would but I reckon its the best of the X-men films from what ive seen. Weird thing was it was an unfinished version that was leaked early so you could see the wire work, screen screen and a lot of unfinished CGI. Made for some interesting viewing.

you're missing out on a lot if you can't watch slow bleak films

Thing is I usually can, in the same way I can sit through films like 2012, im usually open minded to anything but this one just really didnt hold me. Perhaps it was just my mood at the time so I might try to go back to it but I have a feeling the little kid from the film could try my patients.
