I had a prepaid number with 'Telfort', now I switched to a contract with a different provider. Somehow takes a month, I'll try contacting them about it.

(I got that phone that's better than the iphone btw.)

Cant decide if a few people that are supposed to be mates are just mugging me off and using me. Could be the remnants of a rough come down talking but just some stuff they have come out with recently has rubbed me up the wrong way.

Gotta say firstly that this is not an attack on the night I played at all. I actually respect the promoter and enjoy the nights he put on but damn I had a rubbish dj set tonight.

Firstly one turntable was plugged in wrong and only came through the monitor when I dropped a track. Secondly the turntables were not grounded so sounded like shit every time I played vinyl and I had to fanny about plugging them in. The needles were old as shit and were just fucked. The monitors barely worked. The mixer had a habbit of leaking one channel in too when the fader was down.It just lead to a messy set that made me look bad.

This was made worse by another problem. Drunk girls insisting they had to be up in the dj booth with me. Like two girls I don't even remotely know, one hot, one not especially that just wouldn't leave. Doesn't sound too bad but when you consider one of them was bat shit insane and kept twiddling knobs on the mixer, reloading tunes I was in the middle of mixing and telling me every ten seconds the tune was good but then randomly saying she likes beyonce for no reason and I should play her or rambling about how she would be a good dj while standing in the way and posing. Asking me to pretend like I would play Beyonce for her and then demanding I kissed her on stage (she was not the hot one) and knocking shit over and making records skip all while I'm trying to ground turntables. Fix broken mixers and try get the monitors working.

Also the hot girl was a nuisance too. She was doing all this kind of like winding hips type dancing and shit right next to me and hyping the crowd a little, but in between going crazy when I dropped something she'd ask for stupid shit. I was rinsing through nothing but old hard grime instrumentals while she complained that she wanted to hear filth and got quite aggressive over it and acted like I was a shit dj for not playing what she wanted (despite the fact the crowd was loving the grime). I was like "I play grime not filth" but she didn't seem to get it. Haha. Anyway all of this basically looked like I was some sort of badman as I had two girls dancing around and talking to me all set but in reality it was fucking annoying and I was mixing like a total spastic at the same time.

I at least had someone tell me they hadn't heard such good tunes since listening to pirate radio in East London in 2005 so at least someone was impressed.
