if u call a time out in the last 2 minutes you get to advance the ball to halfcourt

also many times coaches will call timeouts to switch their best offensive players w/ their best defensive players for each possession towards the end of the game

you don´t think basketball and specially NBA is a slow game? i have played basketball all my life and i used to be a huge NBA fan but the last minutes of a tied match are always very long, always stoping with volunteer faults and that stuff, i don´t have any problem with that because i love basketball and it gives tension to the end of the match but i understand that it pisses a lot to someone who is not a basket fan the same that happens to me with baseball or american football
