TURN IT UP. Not mastered at allllllll. Well basicly this is a track ive been working on, but its not finished, want some feedback and any ideas on what i should do with the rest of the track as it is not finished yet. I have made the end the way it is so it doesnt suddenly stop.

This one is more or less finished but would like some feedback on that to.

I've just been DJin dubstep up until about 5 days ago when I decided I wanted to start trying to produce. So, I've just been experimenting with stuff the last 5 days and this is one of my first little tracks so I'd appreciate any feedback or basic production guidance

Think theres to much reverb on the whole track and the hats in the intro need to have something else with them or else be shorter. However i do like the weird bit after the hats and that background noise. Although you change the notes and stuff the whole feel to the instruments is of the same intensity, mite be worth not rinsing that wobble so much for the first drop, although you dont later and it sounds good.

Mite be worth chunking up the snare drum a bit although the kicks sound good, kicks could be a bit louder.

http://soundcloud.com/dipeshr94 sorry about this, i can't embed the trackk
If you click on the soundcloud button on the top of the post box it comes out like this Soundcloud then you just put the link in the middle.

To much reverb on the hats, that de tune synth line needs to go or make it in tune. Mix it up so it doesnt just follow the bass synth! Kick sounds fine. Can tell this is your first track! Go check out the production bible for tips. Also mix up when your kick hits and where your hats hit as it sounds very rigid at the moment.

The sound of the Bass is definitely different, but i like it. Is it just heavily distorted or an edited guitar sound? Like the small pitch bends and the mixup at 2:10 too.

Keeping with the guitar theme, at 55seconds you could bring a 'guitar solo improv' over the top before the bass kicks back in. It isn't going in the direction of a typical dub, so may be worth throwing some different instruments in there. Offbeat 'ska guitar' chords? Piano? Could turn into a real chillout track.

This is the closest i've ever got to finishing a 'Dubstep' track. At times today i've thought it's finished, and other times i haven't been so sure. I've been working on this solidly for around 9 hours, so my sense of right and wrong may have vanished. Opinions please!

Liking the tune man, thanks for the comments. I really like the intro and that weird machine noise i think maybe you shouldnt use it as much in the song though change it up a bit and bring it back at the end

Thanks man! Yeah right before the second 'Drop' it becomes a bit repetitive, going to work on that. Any more opinions from people?

In a good mood so i'll go through a load tonight and give my shitty feedback to them!

yeah i think has some coolness in it. your snares should probably be a lot more cracky and punchy, and that kick needs to be a lot more noticeable. the sub sounds nice tho, keep workin on it

Niice track! sounds like you need to neaten the rough edges a bit, try making more of a feature of the "This thing" sample, maybe have a slightly longer pause before it and cut out any other background sounds when its playing as it sounds like a bit of a sensitive sample if you know what i mean, liking the kick straight after though, well timed :P

Haven't been to sleep but I've been working on this song for the last few hours. Third song that I have created, still, needs a lot more improvement to get it better.
