It's absolutely killed me. Hes been crippled to a hospital bed for the past month and the consultants have done nothing but delay tests and operations. The nurse found him collapsed on his bed late monday morning.

I've just lost my alltime hero and idol, fucking lazy NHS, twats.

:(

In all respect, what condition did your father suffer from?
take pride in the fact that he raised you to the person you are today, and that you will always remember him as your hero.

He had major heart problems, but he was back in hospital for reasons unknown as all the tests kept getting delayed / late results. Took them 3 weeks to finally do an MRI scan, we were meant to get the results on monday, but guess what? they weren't ready.

Also, i'll be dedicating my slot on radio robot next tuesday (8:30 - 9:00) to my father, if any of you get the chance it'd be great if you could tune in. Expect bangers from distance, benga, jakes, 501, MRK1 etc etc.

Lost my dad last year as well, though thankfully without any of the cockups that seem to have occurred during your fathers treatment.Worst thing for me wasn't his actual death as that had been expected for some time.It was the way he was during those last few weeks that got me.To see the man I loved and respected looking old, frail, lost and a shadow of his former self was heart breaking.
Cos of all the meds and stuff as well ,he'd lost his personality and sense of humour and couldn't even recognize people anymore either.
All I can say is that the pain lessens given time and eventually you become able to look back on the good times and forget those painful last days.Stay strong mate and have a good show on Tues. :(
P.S @ Fretn - hope things get better for your gramps too!.

Don't criticize your fans and people for giving you support.

If people are liking your music, the WORST thing you can do is attack them for jumping on your 'bandwagon.'

To all you sh*t talking, jealous 'dubstep' fans, artists, Dj... All these junglists are spending A FOCKING TON of $$$$$$ on your dubstep. so STFU. Music is music. the Drum n bass industry has always been open amd supportive of new forms of music. BE happy you've got new fans ! Don't bite the hand that feeds you !
This!

My ex's Dad died this morning.
I'm absoloutley gutted

He was such an amazing guy, He'd skin up for me when I was too drunk to.
He had a go at my ex when he broke up with me 'Oi you knob! Why did you do that?!'
When I broke up with my last fella and I was there crying my eyes out he just hugged me, gave me a cigarette and said 'Look if these loosers dont want ya, I'll have ya'
We'd always take the piss out of him, but could give it as well as he got.

I had to go A&E yet again with another cut, this is my 5th visible cut on my face, and people thought basketball was a non-contact sport?

Also walking my dogs this afternoon, one of them decided to run off into the woods and wouldn't come back.
So theres me running after him, 3/4 length joggers on through overgrown plants.
I've gone through a ton of stinging nettles, both bottom half of my legs have swelled up and burning like fuck!
Thanks doglet! :x
