Hi gang,
Im loving the Epic sounds of everything Dubstep and a bit of Fidget on the side. I run a few clubs in and around the South and London including a new music TV show which starts in August.
I joined here so that I could become a little more educated in the beats. (I actually got to see Borgore play live on Saturday for the first time and have been in a coma ever since).
Also where are all the Dubstep bands hiding, there must be more in the UK besides Coda and a couple of others?

What's good.

21 year old producer in college studying science stuff. I've finally had some time this summer to start learning about music production. Been a guitarist for a couple of years, enjoy some piano on the side as well. I'm about a month into EDM production.

Hoping to learn here along with others.

Sup guys.

First of all, I'm from Malaysia. I came here just wanna share thoughts on this dubstep music scence I just discovered earlier this year.

Yes, I'm totally new in this genre. But, sadly, I started my way off from Skrillex for which has a very hot debate on the internet for his confusable genre, brostep

But, who cares, I wanna know more about the real dubstep here. It sounds like it suits my music desires :D

Hi im also new :) I have listened to dubstep for about four years and it has never bored me in any way. I mainly listen to british dubstep like Skream, Benga, Doctor P, Funtcase, Flux Pavilion etc etc. But I have (regretfully) grown to also like artists such as Skrillex and Excision. I also produce my own music along with my mate. We are both 16 and are hoping to get signed by the end of the summer.

Here is a link to our faceboook page which contains a link to our soundcloud

Hi DSF peeps!

I have been lurking from here form time to time and decided it was time to finally sign up now.

I got into dubstep since 2009 when a friend who had been to england for years let me listen to rutten by skream, its still one of my favorite tunes even now. With that dubstep in mind i searched the web and found out that i really enjoyed some of the darker sounds of benga, and also how minimalistic tunes he had. Benga with warmup from all out dubstep crew had a show planned only 2 weeks after I first discovered Benga, here in sweden. I went there and have been sold to dubstep ever since.

Im very inspired by technical DJ's that mix dubstep. For example I really enjoyed DJ Kutz when he was here. Well, I really enjoy some of the local DJs too, I think we actually have a good scene here in stockholm, not compared to the UK - but still!

I have always been into toying around with music, From singing in a gospel choir, to making tracks in modplug to fruityloops.

Well, not to bore you ill keep it short. I have been hosting one DnB/Dubstep event, trying my best to spin records on Vinyl (and cdj with music from friends and when the vinyl is not an option). I try to compose Dubstep, DnB, Experimental stuff and i want to learn alot!

I hope to get into many intressting topics here, see you around!

hey im new here too, from chicago illinois. 17 years old gonna be 18 soon, been listening to dubstep for the last 3-4 years basically since i enetered highschool.

watched as it slowly grew in my area and soon everyone at school thought they were orginal for listening to it.

but now it seems just as popular as jam bands atleast in my mostly white school. and now see 30-40 kids from school at concerts.
i use to be a hardcore hiphop fan but lost interest as more and more rappers that suck ass were labeled as good.
and dubstep was really the only form of electronic i enojyed listening too, fortunatly i was first showed headbobbing smoking music than crazy womps,
skream, benga, dmz, loefah, ect. so i knew the wide range of diversity this music actually has.
but im new to production and hope to cross lines if im ever succesful at it.

glad to be here!

Hey. New to the site.
My names Dallas, I'm 19, I'm from Seattle, Washington. My favorite music is dubstep, I have no particular favorite, all the music on my ipod/I play constantly are all dj mixes I've found and downloaded. If I were to one name I really like, it'd be skrillex. He's a revolutioner (and a nice guy)
I love dubstep. My life at the moment is making it, and learning how to make it better. I'm very addicted to music :))
http://soundcloud.com/drivingtrance/the
Is my most recent track (I'm remaking a track I entered in a remix competition - off of advice people have given me on it:)

I really REALLY would like to know how to make a little sound cloud player with my track on it.
Can someone help me
Does anyone know how to do it? Please :))))

I made my acct on here and am applying myself in this community because I'd like to make friends :))

There's always new stuff I learn about music, I wouldn't mind sharing my new found knowledge; I'd actually like it :) and I really like learning from other people as well!!!
Hope I get to meet you (anonymous reader) some time! :D
take care
