It's created by Hat Trick Productions for Channel 4. I'd say it's quite British.

Enough of the pedantry though.

I've been told to watch GBH which is some old Channel 4 show, I don't know if it's any good but apparently so. (for the realistic one, it's about corrupt politicians or something.)

I didn't get Nathan Barley either, at the time I watched a couple of them, I guess I had too high expectations so I didn't think much of it, people seem to really like it now though, so I'll give it another shot.

Monthy Python's Flying Circus (Ok it maybe a bit stereotypical but I find it amazing, especially in the context of that time)
15 Storeys High (actually heard of it via DSF, fantastic)

All the rest is already mentioned.
And I'm not lying when I say the BBC makes the best shit for TV.

Did anybody notice that he wanted a "serious" TV series? A lot of what you guys have been suggesting is pure comedy.

Someone mentioned Skins, if you're under 24 (or maybe 20) dat shit is serious.
Also 15 storeys high is more serious too, still got this dark humor.

Shit. True dat.

All the serious shit I watch is American.

If you can find the BBC drama that was on a few weeks back called 'Occupation'. That was dead profound, really makes you think.
