my dog had cancer last year, she would hide away from everyone like she was ashamed of being in pain or something

just hang out with em as much as possible.

The old next door neighbors fed my dog rat poison a while back, it's kidneys exploded and he had to be put down

Apparently my dog made a lot of noise but in all truth he was actually very quiet and timid (still no excuse to poison him), and police didn't do nothing because we had no proof.. I know it was them, they were evil toerags, eventually got evicted though.

Dude I know what your going thru...I lost my little dog Ninja to some fucking coyotes one night, took me forever to get over it. She was only 4. Fucked my beagle up mentally watching that shit I think.
One thing I suggest that totally helped me is to write down every thing you can think of about your dog, the way it slept, things that got it exited, fun times you had together, shit like that.

Dont worry it wont hurt as bad someday, and hopefully you will get another dog when you feel the time is right.
