I have only blocked 1 or 2 people. 1 because I hate the guy. 2nd because dood hit me up with spam 3 times a day. I can deal with a little spam but if you don't even bother to try to start a convo once in a while just I am doing this, I am doing that, TUNE IN BRUV! Fuck off.

I used to use Trillian because AIM's client was not that great but the updated version is actually pretty decent.
