It cracks me up that you are such a troll that you downloaded a mix from someone you dislike just so you can talk shit.

Liked it a lot ... even if the mixing isn't well executed ... the atmosphere and the tracks selection are just great ... thank you for this minimix

Nice, its a beautiful track... Its interesting how he mixed his show up with some Flying Lotus/Madlib reworks, jazz and Can.

I don't care what anybody says, some music is just objectively good.

nobutseriously, that's a whole nother country which I've only been to once. if we had any sort of national programming like Radio1 I would probably listen to the radio (i was going to end with "more often" but i never listen to the radio).

really? Radiohead's a good band? who's that?

:u:

Radiohead are an exception of a handful of exceptions. They have propelled the creation of much strange and wonderful music. The blanket generalizations I make in other threads revolve around the fact that MOST fm radio music is ego-driven, corporate-sponsored regurgitation, the result of a bunch of greedy suits sitting around figuring out how to hang on to the exorbitant amounts of money they already have, which basically involves milking a readily identifiable formula far past the point of death.

Radiohead don't even have a record label as far as I know, so what exactly do you mean by "conglomerate"? Yes, they are mainstream to a certain degree, but so was Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Genesis (who later made crap I admit), even Kraftwerk, New Order, The Cure and Morrissey all enjoyed mainstream success, but again they are largely exceptions to the rule, especially when you consider how much resulting good and interesting music they inspired.

On the other hand, shitty music inspires more shit, that's why you never meet interesting, edgy bands inspired by Oasis or Robbie Williams.
