PC, but I'm getting close to the edge...
yeah, maybe 10 years ago. adobe products are now designed for processors with intel chips. funny that.artek wrote:if your more on the creative side of things, mac. because thats what its designed for.
yea maybe it's cause macs now use intel chips?mr luker wrote:yeah, maybe 10 years ago. adobe products are now designed for processors with intel chips. funny that.artek wrote:if your more on the creative side of things, mac. because thats what its designed for.
I recently got a worm on my PC that made me have to format my harddrive, it was a worm that infected every .exe you ran, so obviously that includes anti-virus software, then I had to format my hard drive. I swear to god, sometimes I feel like throwing it in the bin even though it's only a year old. Then again I only use it for gaming and 3d shit nowadays.86 position wrote:But I never have viruses, probably because I don't run internet on my home PC. And plus...that can be solved with this thing they have, some shit called Viruscan.
That's a fairly general opinion, I agree a lot of the people you see with macs are using them due to the cool factor, but don't tar every mac user with the poser brushbass hertz wrote:Today people buy macs for one reason. *cosmetic*
well, I was speaking about the "majority" of people. mac and pc can be on equal hardware ground when it comes to processing power. both upgradeable with the same technologies. i think you mean to say "...but ended up selling my pc cause it was a windoze box"unfold wrote:That's a fairly general opinion, I agree a lot of the people you see with macs are using them due to the cool factor, but don't tar every mac user with the poser brushbass hertz wrote:Today people buy macs for one reason. *cosmetic*
I used to use a mac and a windows machine, but ended up selling my pc (which was really hi-spec) cause it just couldn't cut it with the mac's processing power

me too. i got a macbook recently and half expected to not get on with it because in the past i've found macs and laptops impossible to use, but i got used to it really quickly and am a covert now. but like you said, the organisation side of things really lets macs down so i tend to use my PC for downloading and music storage etcjamesgarfield wrote:exact same here. I find it MUCH easier to organize my files with windows. there are simply many fewer sort options on macs, which is a big issue for me.kingldub wrote:Got both. Actually prefer PC. I was all about my Mac when I first got it but the novelty soon wore off.
when describing processing power i was referring to the software side of things and how macs use system resources far better than windowsbass hertz wrote:well, I was speaking about the "majority" of people. mac and pc can be on equal hardware ground when it comes to processing power. both upgradeable with the same technologies. i think you mean to say "...but ended up selling my pc cause it was a windoze box"unfold wrote:That's a fairly general opinion, I agree a lot of the people you see with macs are using them due to the cool factor, but don't tar every mac user with the poser brushbass hertz wrote:Today people buy macs for one reason. *cosmetic*
