I hate it when i show people dubstep and they say its shit because its slow, and has no lyrics, and skip the intro 
Also i hate people that call you a goth, grunger or emo because you dont listen to anything thats like american rap, popular drum and bass or grime, this is mostly chavs who do this who are insecure.

Yeah wtf's with that, more recently someone just said "step". Blows my mind why someone needs to shorten an already short word further. Dub for dubstep though just plain strikes a deep nerve with me. People who say "I have a really obscure taste in music", which 90% of the time translates into " I have few radiohead songs on my ipod". Also people who say music is thier lives, when all they do is listen to it.

People who think they're better because they don't like pop.
People who give DJs too many props for the tunes they play rather than the selection/mix they added to them. There really aren't many DJs that can be described as "genius".
Scat vocals. Not vocals about shitting on girls, that is... those vocals can stay.

More that people stand astounded by the quality of tunes being played and yell that the DJs a genius. No, he just found a cool tune before you and pressed play. Yeah, he's got work to do on the mix and tune selection (all which deserve props), but it's very rarely any kind of act of "genius".
My housemate thinks Carl Cox is a genius.

I didn't say it wasn't. Tune selection and getting a good mix is difficult (which is why I can't do it very well)... but it's not a level of "genius" compared to creating music.
