I just went four days with 4 hours of sleep. Fucking hell it felt like I was beat up from the inside. WORST PART - extreme deja vu every 5 minutes or so. After two nights of drug induced sleep, the deja vu is slowing down. First few deja vu's were cool, but I was seriously starting to loose it a bit. A little mini groundhogs day, every few minutes or so. Wasn't solid studio time, and even then most of the studio time was educational or clerical.

Bro, did this too. Totally fucked it up, placed only in top 50%. My emotions got so screwed up, like I would go from euphoric to literally in tears in about a minute's time. Horrible.

But I don't think I could have done the studio stuff after that long. Judgment is paramount in audio, and I loose mine after 15 minutes now

I'm not gonna lie - it was not a pretty site by the end... but the worst part was, I couldn't even go to bed after those 60+ hours, I had to take a final in Recording (various dB calculations, mic polar patterns, etc) immediately afterwards.

I still occasionally have weekends where I do nothing from 5 on a Friday until mightnight on the Sunday but produce, drink, eat, smoke and piss off my girlfriend.

I should be so much better than I am.

I'm not gonna lie... I was not a pretty site. My ears were pretty shot, but luckily, it wasn't all mixing. I was creating an interactive CD-ROM for a final project... so I could switch between sound and coding when my ears got tired. My eyes were completely shot and I went through a bottle of eye drops.

I wish I had a picture of the faces of the rest of the class and Prof. when they saw me walk in... bloodshot eyes, stinking of 3days worth of chainsmoking and coffee, barely able to walk, and brought in with me a box of doughnuts and a 2-litre bottle of Coke. I ate the whole box of doughnuts, drank the whole bottle of Coke, and finished the 3-hour exam in under 90 minutes.

I really should have failed that exam... but by some odd twist of fate, I not only passed, but I aced it. For some reasons, the hallucinations I was having were very helpful in providing the answers. Hahahah.

I don't recommend it though.
