I am not going to jump on the pile but I would recommend lowering your price to 10 bucks a tune until you can get a nice list of satisfied clients. I know several mastering guys that do have a fairly impressive resume that are under 20 dollars a track. If you are using hardware you can get away with charging more but I am not convinced it is worth it.

LOL, thats a neat trick. Re-compressing an already mastered track is going to make any song sound terrible. That site is merely a gimmick selling itself as a crusade so people buy into it as the voice of reason. I would never submit anything to them. They want you to buy their certification, Their mastering services. Its a joke!! And your supporting and promoting them HAHAHA!!! Your so quick to judge, but you haven't done your homework. Collective?! more like Disconnected.

A better example is that crappy album Metallica put out that everyone hated because it was too loud! My tunes sound great! Plenty of dynamics. And clarity as well. LOL your too funny.

Dude i am done with you, if I was going to get my shit mastered by anyone it would be by POLE (~scape) , or TWERK (Shawn Hatfield), Macc, Percision or Dubplates and Mastering (there are plenty other professionals), if you think they are jokes, you obviously know jack shit about anything. If you think you are doing the same thing as them, you are fool. And I will join everyone in laughing at your ignorance. You think louder is better, you fail to understand that louder isn't better. If you think running stuff through a studer for soft tape distortion is a joke, i dont even know what to say to you.

You know what, I don't even know what happened here.

Builder, u jumped into a minefield, and I don't think you knew it at the time. U do now!

There are a group regulars here, and they include a few me's that have been really helpful to the community in general. So when you (or two or three of u a week) come around with just a few posts offering up your services with no credentials, well the response is not going to be good.

Builder, if you spent some time contributing valuable feedback to artist's posting looking for help with their mixes, I'm sure you would develop a reputation as a knowledgeable, helpful member who could be trusted to do some mastering.

I hope that we all can get back on track, making music, learning all about the art and science that is involved in the love of our life. (and posting up alpaca's being licked by two Japanese schoolgirls)

Haha exactly, he just insulted near enough everyone on the forum by saying that nobody owns a single license to their software,

for a fair few people I guess he's right, but when I've just shelled out over a grand for a new setup including a legit version of Logic 9 it can make you a bit pissy.

Maybe he doesn't own his own software and wants our keys to he can unlock his own cracked software

Oh yeah you mentioned ME's kissing our asses and you not being licensed. I aint gonna go into engineering license' due to it being fiction. But what we do look for in a ME is somebody who will take time to listen to our track and do exactly what needs to be done to that track to help us achieve our final product.
