samples can be done really well, and really badly. love the Dark City samples distance uses, and that one from sin city "he didnt just eat there bodies, he ate there souls souls souls" I think thats from 10 tonnes heavy innit?
btw while we're on the topic, does anyone know what tune the sample from the end of the first matrix is from? "I didnt come here to tell you how this is going to end, I came here to tell you how this is going to begin" or something like that? I was watching it the other day and didnt know it was from the matrix but now i cant remember what tune its from

Wow, poll turned out pretty great!
One of my favorites right now is Kid606 - Mr. Wobble's Nightmare.... It's hilaaaarious
a - "Mr. Wobble?"
b - "Yesss?"
a - "Do you have a son named Robert... Robert Wobble... Age 17?"
a - "Yess"
b - "I'm sorry Mr. Wobble, you better come down to the station house... Your son is dead"
a - "Dead.. How?"
b - "He was at an underground party... A rave. Some how they all got locked inside and
couldn't get out until we arrived. They ran out of drinks and had no food.
The other party goers must have been desperate. They started eating him alive"
The only problem is the sample occurs way too much through out the song, but in the beginning it's tight.

It's only good when it's done well and sparingly.

Bar 9 - Triple Drop sampling from Human Traffic, the speech Danny Dyer's parents are giving him about how the youth have no respect etc.
I personally like quotes from movies. Doesnt bother me at all. Take this one for example. Im thinkin about bein a crack dealer
I really like that RUF track, makes me laugh everytime. Samelot, agreed about Mr. Wobble, over used in the song but caught me so off gaurd the first time i heard it, had to rewind cause i was laughing so hard, when mr. wobble says 'wha...how?.' so funny. My vote goes for both in this poll tho.

i haven't heard it but i'm guessing it samples 'white rabbit' by jefferson airplane as used on the soundtrack
a tune that does sample fear and loathing in las vegas is headhunter 'prototype'
